An extraordinary journey through one of the most stunning and biodiverse areas of Africa. A trekking journey combining travel by boat, local dug-out canoe travelling to the African Alpine Zone of the high Virunga (over 3600m), through equatorial and cloud forest. Exploring forest and mountain cultures and experiencing incredible wildlife and habitats.

• January 5th to 22nd: Trekking trip with an add on to descend to Queen Elizabeth National Park (to view Africa's big game and undertake a Chimpanzee trekking) finishing in Entebbe, Uganda.

A fascinating journey exploring the huge contrasting landscapes and the ancient and modern traditions of the desert people of Southern Morocco. A journey from bustling Marrakesh, through the High Atlas to the trade cities of the foot hill of the Atlas, and to the desert to trek with the Sahrawi and desert Berber peoples.

An immersive journey into the textiles of the mountain communities of the Humla area of Northwestern Nepal An inspiring opportunity to travel with fellow textile enthusiasts. Find out about the practical, cultural and sacred relevance of woven and sewn textiles. Spend time with skilled local artisans, work with them and learn from them. A window into rich but little explored cultural heritage and a journey of personal creative development and inspiration in a stunning mountain environment.

Bespoke Journeys
Journeys for 2 or more people that can be organised with our indigenous guides to explore the journey taken by US author Peter Matthiessen in Dolpo, NW Nepal that was the basis of his iconic 1979 book The Snow Leopard.
